Before automating actions on a LinkedIn account, you need to "warm it up". A new or inactive account that suddenly sends 100 invitations/day will get flagged.
Why Warmup?
- LinkedIn detects abnormal behavior patterns
- New accounts are closely monitored
- Sudden activity spikes trigger alerts
- Gradual increase looks more natural
Warmup Schedule
Week 1: 5-10 profile views/day, 5 connection requests/day
Week 2: 15-20 profile views/day, 10-15 requests/day
Week 3: 30 profile views/day, 20-25 requests/day
Week 4+: Full speed, max 80-100 requests/week
Natural Activity
During warmup, act like a real user:
- Engage with posts (likes, comments)
- Post content occasionally
- Accept incoming requests
- Reply to messages
- Visit profiles in your industry
Technical Setup
- Dedicated IP - One IP per account
- Consistent browser - Same device, same fingerprint
- Human hours - Activity 9am-6pm, not 3am
- Breaks - Weekends off or reduced activity
Red Flags to Avoid
- Sending 50+ requests on day one
- Generic connection messages
- Very low acceptance rate
- Activity at 3am
- IP shared with other accounts
